Dear UNT supporter,
UNT's prominence in Collin County continues to soar with construction moving along for our first permanent UNT at Frisco building — Frisco Landing. This 135,000-square-foot, four-story building was designed with a focus on student success and collaboration, and will open for Spring 2023 classes. Star Local Media, Community Impact, The Dallas Morning News, and the Denton Record-Chronicle recently toured the construction site to learn more about the facility, which features 29 classrooms and 69 huddle rooms.
Our permanent UNT at Frisco home is located at the southwest corner of Preston Road and Panther Creek Parkway on land the city of Frisco provided at no cost to begin its partnership with UNT. As the first four-year institution to serve Collin County, we are committed to providing our partners with access to a Tier One education and supporting industry by creating degrees that suit each business' unique needs.
We've had a presence in Frisco since 2016, at our Hall Park and Inspire Park locations, and currently educate more than 2,600 students. Programs offered exclusively at UNT at Frisco include Project Design and Analysis, Industrial Distribution, and Applied Project Design and Analysis. This spring we celebrated graduates from the first Project Design and Analysis cohort, an immersive program that gives students the opportunity to put their skills into practice on real-world projects with industry partners. You'll read more below about our incredible Class of 2022 graduates.
UNT at Frisco is a longtime dream we'll soon realize, and we look forward to celebrating in Mean Green style upon its opening next year.
UNT Proud,
Neal Smatresk
